I picked this up the other day for $200. Needs to be refinished, but so far I'm happy with it. Probably paid a tad to much. Oh well. There are some dark spots that I tried to polish out that did not work out so well.

Looks like you did good. You got a Colt that will hold up to heavy 357 use and I doubt that you will wear it out. The perfect carry gun that you are not going to worry about the finish.

I thought it was a 6" barrel before I bought it off my buddy. I was excited because I already have a 6" MKIII Trooper, but when I saw it was a 4" barrel I was elated.

Colt will refinish it for a competitive price.
Plus, as a factory refinish it takes less of a hit on value as a refinished gun.

It'll come back from Colt looking like brand new.

Thanks I will look into sending it back to Colt. I was thinking about sending it to Accurate Plating. I've heard theyre pretty good.

I bought one of those a few months back at a fun show.  An Ol Timer was selling his.  NIB.  Never turned.  I gave him $500 for it.  Didn't know anything about it, but I figured an older NIB Colt is worth $500.
