As above, Ebay is good, or you can post them in many of the gun forums "For Sale" areas for free.
That option is a lot less hassle, since you just state your selling price and sell them to the first person who says he'll buy them. The process is simple. The first person who promises to buy them gets them. He sends you a U.S. Postal Money Order (NOTHING else) and you send him the books well packed and insured. If he backs out or doesn't follow your instructions on payment, you re-list the books. Advice: Don't accept anything but a US Postal money order. Don't send the books in an envelope, pack well in a box. |

i would post them at 1911forum.com. i am pretty sure there are many members looking for these books if they are priced properly you will sell them quickly. if you overprice them, you will sit on them. the collector guide is still readily available for $40 at coolgunsite.com the last govt. model book i saw on ebay sold for $86. others were priced at around $125, but dont know if they sold. a few days ago, the usgi book was listed as SPF at 465 shipped on 1911forum. IIRC the seller originally listed it at $600. |
