I have one I bought new 10 or 11 years ago. It is very accurate. Any Ideas if Colt will release it again?

I have one.Colt told me they would not be made again but would not tell me why.I think that they undercut Gold Cups too much.I think Colt was under pressure from customizers and new makers at the time(1996).The CT was an experiment, but a sweet gun nonetheless and one of the rarer 1911's.

Probably the best value Colt ever did in a 1911.

So they quit making it...................

Since it was such a good idea I'm sure Colt won't touch it with a ten foot pole.

I always though mine was a Gold Cup with a matt finish and a non-adjustable trigger.
