There always seems to be a lot of praise going around for their products. Personally, I love my M-Tac and my Pro-Undercover holsters. What Comp-Tac holsters do you own, what one is your favorite? MAX |

I just got my MTAC in the mail today. Order was placed on the 9th at around 0100, production started on the same day, with a 10 day estimate. Order was shipped on the 13th, and it arrived today, the 17th. A week turnaround, over a federal holiday is just impressive. The Smarties and handwritten "thank you" was a nice touch.
I would recommend Comp Tac to anyone and everyone. |

I have had a shirt tucker which I bought in 2002, and I still use today. I also owned another shirt tucker, which I paid to have converted to a C-TAC, and while I thought the design was awesome, it broke multiple times, and the repair that Comp-Tac did was sub-par. To make it worse, I was given some serious attitude when I called to have it fixed the 2nd time, despite me being very friendly with them.
An email regarding the situation went unreturned, and when I needed to purchase some new belt clips for it, my order got "lost" in their system, despite my card being charged, and it took a long time for me to get them. Great designs, great quality (usually), but their customer service has really slipped from when I first discovered them.

I think their mag carriers are some of the best on the market these days. They carry tight to the body and are cut perfect for fast access.
On the other hand I was totally under whelmed with the Infidel I purchased after years of using Bladetech IWB holsters. It seemed overly bulky and far wider than it needed to be. Add to that the sweat guard completely prevented obtaining a full grip on the draw...almost ridiculously so. It got better for me after I removed some material with a dremel tool. It's still too bulky of a design. |

1. M-Tac 1. C-Tac 1. Pro Undercover 3. Paddle Holsters. ETA: Oh, and several mag holders. Do you have a favorite? Hard to say since I use them all for different things. I would say that for IWB carry I prefer the M-tac over the C-Tac. I have the pro-undercover because it's much faster to put on than the M-Tac, so I use it for a quick run to the store. Their paddle holsters are amazing (Why I own 3 of them) for open carry, handgun classes, etc. |

I also (don't know if I'm alone here) don't find the M-Tac any more comfortable than the pro holster. The only reason why I do not wear my pro holster every day is that since the M-Tac has two attachment points it is far more stable. It moves around less on my belt. MAX |

I have owned a paddle for a Sig 220. Sold it with the gun. Great holster though. I now have a CTAC for a Glock 21 SF. Keeps the gun in tight to the body, very thin design and I love being able to change the cant and drop so much. The holster I use the most from Comp-Tac is the Infidel slide for my Glock 26. Very light weight holster that is quick and easy to don and doff. I use the single large clip. I plan to get one when I finally snag a Kahr PM9. For subcompact guns the Infidel is perfect.
I also have 2 Tec-Lok Single Mag Pouches that I use on my duty belt and I plan to get a belt holster for my 21SF with X300 attached. I am very impressed with this company and I'm always happy to support local business. |
| I've had the C-tac since I started carrying my USPc, then I bought one for my 229 I was in love. I just bought an M-tac for my new M&P 9FS, I wish I had a M-tac for all the other guns. It's more comfortable to wear and not any harder to conceal than the C-tac is and I'm 5'7" 150. |

That's the only problem that I ever have with my Comp Tac Pro-Undercover holster. I'm 6' and about 190-195. When I take the gun out of the holster I have a bit of hangover/saggage that covers part of the empty holster. This makes one handed reholstering tricky at times. I've gotten pinched before. Other than this, I have always found the pro undercover more comfortable than the mtac simply because it is smaller. It is also a lot easier to take in and out of your pants. MAX |

I have never been able to find anyone even close for Kydex holsters. Although I like leather holsters in theory I have never been able to find one that I like to use as much as Comp-Tac's Kydex holsters. They are just that awesome! Cough Raven Concealment Cough. |

I have tried nearly every single Comp-Tac holster of the past few years. I have used them for a good variety of weapons too ... Glock, Sig, J-frame, 1911s, etc.
By and far my favorites are the MTAC and CTAC. The MTAC is more comfortable IMO since the leather backing acts as a shield to protect bare skin from the grip and back of the slide. However, it does ever so slightly impede a quick grasp of the grip. Not enough to NOT purchase it, just that the CTAC provides a quicker full grasp of the weapon. Since the CTAC doesn't have the leather backing I find I have to wear a t-shirt tucked between the holster/pistol and bare skin. Otherwise, I look like someone took a cheese grater to my side gut. I am quite fond of the Two O'Clock for Appendix carry also. I have one for a G19 and another for a J-frame. The Comp-Tac paddles are the only paddle holsters I will use. |
