[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Compact M1911

Just got this Colt Compact .45 ACP a few days ago. Took it to the range today and put two hundred rounds
of Winchester White Box through it. No malfunctions of any kind and surprisingly accurate for a short
barreled auto.

I was kind of worried because the first time I shot my Officer the front sight post fell out. This one didn't.

I bought one NIB from my father in law a few months ago. A friend had sold it to him, and he decided he had no use for it.

My first 1911. I like it.

It`s a good gun. I have two, one stainless, one carbon steel. I think they are great basic guns. It`s a shame Colt stopped making them. Duke Nukem just refinished my carbon steel version.
