Building a targert glock and I can't decide if I want to get a 6" ported barrel or threaded with a compensator in it...

what have you guys been using?

I am leaning more towards threaded with compensator for the use of a can, but I dont know yet.

I use KKM with threaded comp on my G34...I had to change to a much lighter recoil spring...I think 11 or 13 pounds with a tungsten guide rod...not sure which one

I shoot several threaded, compensated barrels, some in .400 Cor-Bon; 1 in .40 Super, others in .45ACP.   I like the threaded, compensated barrels.  Ports will mitigate muzzle flip, but they won't do much to slow down slide speed.

I've never thought that a tungsten guide rod would make much difference, but I do use steel guide rods.
