I posted this on the competetive shooting forum here but seeing how that board gets VERY little traffic I decided to post it here as well to see if you guys have any input. I have been kicking around the idea of maybe taking up competetive shooting. I have recently gotten back into guns after nearly 20 years of not owning any. I have a decent aim but I know that during actual competition its a helluva lot different than just standing on the line at the local range. I bought myself a new Sig P220st this past year and would more than likely be using that. Any ideas, suggestions, or advice for someone looking into this? Thanks! |

Yes...stop procrastinating and just DO IT! USPSA, IPSC (same thing, really) or IDPA matters not...just go and have a blast (pun intended!) with your Sig. It is about what YOU get out of it...not me or someone else...only you. get a decent holsrer, two or three extra mags, some good WW white box ball, and have some fun...you will be glad you did! |
