Imagine my delight when I found my SFS equipped BHP was completely locked up, hammer wouldn't come back, slide locked, nada. On close examination I found the tail of a small spring protruding below the left thumb safety. By manipulating that little bit of spring I was finally able to get the safety down to the point the hammer would release and I could get the slide off. Now, I liked the SFS system a lot, but I can't have this kind of problem going on. Tomorrow I will disassemble the pistol and see where that little end of a spring is supposed to be, but for now my confidence in this design is really shook and I am ready to replace the original parts. Anybody else have any problems like this? |
