I was wondering if they are worth it? Like the lone wolf which says you just drop it in. Says othing about extractors.
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/GNS134-1.html Whats the hive mind thinking? Also for a .40 to .357 sig conversion. I wouldnt have to buy any different mags because the .357 sig round uses a .40 cal casing right? Thanks for the future help! |

The conversion barrel was worth it to me. I can shoot 9mm all day long from my G23. It's considered "drop-in". Most folks report 100% reliability doing this. Me, I had to open up the chamber a bit (LWD barrels are known for being tight), do a slight amount of polishing/fitting in "wear spots" I detected, and put in a 9mm extractor. No big deal, it now runs 100%. For .40 to .357, just a STOCK barrel will do, and alot of folks report 100% reliability using the .40 mags. I have not done this. |

For swapping .40 and .357sig back and forth, just swap barrels. There are some slight differences in magazines between .40 and .357, but most report good reliablity with both.
For .40/.357 conversion to 9mm, you need a conversion barrel and 9mm magazines. Extractor if needed. |
