I have a .40 BE (will be picking it up in a month or so) that also has with it a .41AE barrel, which is mostly useless

now everythign on this gun is overengineered, just like my CZs, and just the way I like my pistols, idestructable, that said, how bad an idea would it be to convert it to 10mm, not for a steady diet, but to make sure it will work and for defence?

If you manage to do this you are amazing.

As far as I know you'd have to do heavy heavy modifications to the frame because there isn't enough room in the .40 BE magazines lengthways to allow them to be used with 10mm cardridges.
So a longer magazine is in order, which would require a longer grip on the frame to allow it to fit. The Baby Eagle is basically an exact replica of an EAA Witness inside. The EAA Witness does come in 10mm, but those are the newer Witnesses and the frames are different than the older model Witnesses, which are what the Baby Eagle is based on.

All that being said I love my .40 BE, I have been eying a .357 sig barrel for it though...
