Has anyone seen the penetration data of these loads

Corbon .40

I've decided to try something new and get a G23 (I already own a G17) and I'd still pretty set on the whole "light and fast" deal. but I'm unsure if these can
be trusted as defensive loads because I haven't seen any reports on them.

Thoughts?

These have been around for a while, pretty sure they're a good round.  I don't have any concrete data ta show you, but they have been around for quite some time.

My personal favorite in .40 for my own G23 is Speer GD in the 155 grn variety.

I have shot them in 45.  Did good and the +P's where hard to handle.

IMO,there are better ammo options out there.Plus they come in 50 round boxes.

I would try to find some tests on that load. I use to shoot the fast, light loads but switched to the 180's because my wife prefered them(and me once trying them, seem to have less or more controllable recoil,IMO) and they usually perform better in the penetration tests. Check out the ammo recomendations here and the tests at le/atk.com under wound ballistics and what's new.

Stick with Speer Gold Dot or Winchester Ranger. Both
LE tested and approved.
