Having owned both, I like my M-TAC better, that said the Crossbreed is still a good holster

Fair enough, seriously though I tend to vote for the Crossbreed, however that is mostly because I haven't used the other... perhaps I need to order one and do an objectively subjective write up on them...

2 of  each (MTAC & CB ST).  MTAC is definitely better.

I've carried with both and prefer Raven Phantom holsters.

Explanation here.

Although today I found an old order from Comp-Tac and did enjoy the Smarties.

Crossbreed gives you safe of my and a nice metal parts that dont break.

i like the feel of the crossbreed alot better, it also has the choose of stock cowhide or horsehide.

The Crossbreed is slimer and the stock adjustment make it alot easyier to conceal. You have three heights setting, its also 10 bucks cheaper and you get leather .

I rate the Comptac 5+1 for that smarty, and 9 for the crossbreed, almost as good as 120 dollar leather one but half the cost :)

this

both are quality made and comfortable

h/w, i have found the MTAC to be nicer/more comfortable over the long haul; construction imo is "better" and more refined and its more modular (ie: you can replace parts, exchange bodies, etc)

of the 2, i would get the MTAC: h/w, CB has a better warranty and CS––they will fix your holster, no questions...w/ CT, you fit the bill after a yr (or 2)
