Ahh, i'm tracking now. I do notice that his beavertail feels 'thinner' maybe. Allows me to feel like i'm getting up a little bit higher on the gun. But, I didn't honestly notice a difference during shooting.
His flat trigger caught my attention more. He's got giant hands and I've got tiny hands (thus the short curved trigger) but I found I actually liked the flat trigger quite a bit. Just not sure how I feel about it aesthetically |

I thought it might have been Ionbond, because unless the pic was made when he first got it back the barrel hood was still immaculate and it has that DLC look to it. Ionbond definitely has its merits as a finish. I had a Baer finished in it by John Harrison at one point, and no matter how much I shot it the barrel hood always looked brand new. |
