We over in the Glock world have stuff like Lone Wolf slides, I get to use my XD owning girlfriend to hide my XD fetish from my friends, I was wondering if there is anything like that, or anything else out yet for XDs.

Seems like there are getting to be more and more parts available.

Pistol Gear has a good selection of barrels, mag releases, springs, trigger-pull kits, guide rods, etc. Haven't seen anything like slides yet, but that doesn't mean there isn't

I know its not what you were referring to but we all like to brag on our toys

Not really custom. I had the barrel, slide release, mag release, grip safety, trigger, take down lever and all the pins sent to Robar for NP3.

Yup, check out Robar. They do some mighty fine work. Also, look into Scott Springer at Springer Precision...he does great trigger work.

Yup, it is home brewed stippling. My friends say it looks like Treebark. : )
It is alot grippier over stock but it doesnt catch on clothing when carried concealed.

With it being that color it does look like tree bark.

I used a wood burning kit I bought at a Michaels craft store. It came with different stamp tips for the iron and i ground one down to make it smooth, then cut slits in it with my dremel.

I suggest you practice on an XD case to test your patterns : )

Looking to add one to the .45 Tac..

I have one from Smartlock Technology. Its a solid piece as opposed to the screw-on ones that you can buy. I just bought one from ExtremeShot but it has not arrived yet. Will be putting that on my IDPA XD.
