I've dont everything but put in the striker block and spring. Lightly took a nylon hammer to the rear sight and it didn't budge. Was going to try a brass punch with tape on the slide next. You removed the rear sight by pushing it to the right side correct?

Yep. Punch with tape did it for me. It was tight as hell for me as well.

Well I ended up ruining my punch and the rear sight never moved. I think I'll have to end up getting the sight pusher that Brownell's has if I'm wanting to finish up the install.

I wound up buying the sight pusher.  BTW, the M&P sight pusher perfectly fits the 9mm/40 Glocks.  No idea on the 10mm/45 Glocks.

My rear sight in my M&P9c falls out if I take out the set screw.  I shouldn't have any problem installing the DCAEK once I finally order it ....

Speed Shooter's Specialties has a sight tool for rent that costs $25 for a week.

Just an FYI to save you a few bucks unless you really want to buy the sight pusher.
