Thunderwear or Smartcarry are really your only options if you don't want to go the fanny pack route.

I use a belly-band. Works well, but had to get used to the feel. I might add that it does pull in my fat gut a little, too.

I some a clip holster IWB for a 36 that you can use without a belt.

Good luck getting the gun back in the holster after drawing though.

Barami Hip-Grip, or maybe one of the more modern metal-clip attachments that are on the market.

I run, and work out at the gym, with a Kel-Tec .32 and belt clip worn inside the waistband, and the gym shorts cinched up tight.  It never moves.  (T-shirt to cover.)

I also have Barami Hip-Grips (with Tyler T-Grip gap fillers) on my S&W snubbies.  They work fine for carrying in beltless shorts.

I have several guns that I carry in DeSantis Nemesis pocket holsters.

Fanny pack, or you could buy shorts with belt loops like the rest of us.

While looking for more options, I found this:

Anybody have any experience with these?

There's also a "necklace" holster for the little KTs that I've heard good things about for running, etc., but I haven't tried one...

The barami hip grip works well on snubby wheelguns, though I'd recommend using them on a hammerless revolver or having the hammer spur bobbed on an exposed hammer.
