I was thinking of picking up some Double Tap 185gr ammo for my .45ACP. Are those loads to hot to use consistantly in a Glock, has anyone had decent success w/those loads w/the factory setup or is a change of the recoil spring etc required. I read where DT switched to a different manufacturer for their product last year which was inferior to their last setup, but as far as the specs I have read they seem decent. Are their loads comparable to Speer Gold Dots +P's, as far as felt recoil and muzzle flash.

Thanks in advance, I just don't to make a mistake buying something to hot. I know a Glock will handle any factory load...

I think they originally used Gold Dot bullets but now use Nossler.  I haven't heard anything on how this load performs.  If you like 185 gr - try the Corbon DPX 185 gr. +P.

185gr. .45 loads already have penetration issues (the all copper bullets being an exception), pushing them to stupid fast velocities would only make that worse.
