Not enough!!  Seriously, DW's are in high demand and are difficult to find, regardless of model.  People wait months after ordering one, or try to find someplace that has one in stock.  I have checked 3 different LGS in the past month, one has 4 9mm ECO's on order, the others have none in stock.  The LGS with the 4 on order had 2 DW Eco 45's and a DW Sepcialist in SS sold in a few days.  No idea on the production numbers per year (guardian is close to the VBOB, but with alloy frame).  I snagged a VBOB back in 2012 in SS, first one I ever saw at a gun store!  I also got a CBOB back in 2010 or 2011 IIRC.  DW's fly off the shelves.  Best bet would be to look on one of the auction sites to see what is available or look for a gently used one in the Classifieds.

Love the VBOB/CBOB configuration! :)

Decide Stainless or Duty treat.

It isn't more then a few hundred, if that, of each model. Find a used VBob if you can at a reasonable price.

Gunbroker had a few last time I looked.

I've always had good luck with the site.

I have a dw valor v-bob ,just wondered how many are made. I havent seen another one since I bought it. I have seen an eco ,2 full size valor,1 guardian.  Is the quality the same or better since the factory burnt down? I bought  mine right before the factory burnt down.

I saw a brand new just in Black Valor yesterday at a local shop, after a closer look, I found 3 blemishes, a small dot (something in paint just front of trigger), light spot with dots on right side of slide, and a run in paint on top edge of slide, just right of front sight. I was shocked to see this. Quality has slipped a bit it seems.I told the dealer he ought to send that back to the wholesaler

Was at my LGS yesterday talking 1911's - his distro had numerous DW's of various stripes available. I could have it in a few days if wanted. Didn't realize they're all that hard to get.

They make 3-4k pistols a year altogether.
