Has anyone tried the stick-on grips for Glocks? How well do they hold up? I don't like the slip-on Hogue grips. Link |

They're called A grips and they are great. I have them on my G32. The rubber ones are best. I have yet to have one problem with them. I know they stick forever b/c i had the sandpaper ones first and they sucked so i tore them off and one of them fell on the concrete. That was last year and the damn thing is still stuck there. J |
| I had them on my G23. The ones for the slide fell off. I had no problem with them but I decided for a change. I removed them (they are easy to remove for your polimer Glock They pealed right off of mine, stuck it on the table well it is still on that dam table), right now I have a section from a Bicycle innertube that I cut and slipped on. I submerged the gun and my hand underwater to get everything wet. I then shook the gun to get all the watter out of the barrel. I then loaded he gun and blasted away. The gun did not slip at all. It caust $2.90 and about 5 minutes to do. there is another post on this mod. If you are having slippage problems I highly recomend it. |
| Never tried the A-Grip but the decals work fine for what they are able to do. Skateboard or stair tread tape also. The real problem is that the tape/decal does not want to stick on the front or back of the gripstrap, which is where you really need the traction most. I use them on a couple of my Glocks, however, and they do help...cheap and easy to remove if desired as well. |
