| I am trying to decide between the Supertuck Deluxe and the Bladetech Eclipse with the iwb conversion. The winner will be whichever one holds the gun closest to the body. |

Thanks for the response.
I wasn't expecting the final price at checkout! I was expecting more replies from the Crossbreed fans, as well as one or two from the Bladetech camp. . Perhaps there aren't as many fans as I expected...

Quoted:
Many companies make quality hybrid holsters now. No need to save pennies. https://aliengearholsters.com/ I will attest to the quality of the alien gear holsters and it does hold the pistol close to the body. I carry a 5" all steel 1911 and feel comfortable all day long with mine. |

I like the adjustability of it, especially that I can adjust the ride height and buy shells for using other pistols. My biggest concern is the butt printing through my shirt. My priority is for angling the butt more toward the body so it isn't jutting out. I'll take concealability over comfort any day. Knowing that I can move freely without printing is the only "comfort" I want. I'll try the Alien Gear. If it prints, I'll try the Bladetech. Thanks for the replies. |
| I have used a Khoslter for a Springfield XD9 subcompact, a Glock 17, and a Glock 19. Great product, cheaper than Crossbreed, and probably its closest cousin. Plus, you can fuck it up beyond repair doing a combat cut or whatever and Jimmy will send you a new one for free. Pay the extra for the mink oil treatment though. |
| First holster I used IWB was a full kydex for a G19. I hated that stupid thing. It was like shoving a dinner plate into your waistband. I went with a Old Faithful after that and have been using it for over a year with no problems. I do not recommend a full kydex holster for IWB carry. |
