I have decided to buy a Springfield Loaded model but can't decide if I want the Black/Stainless or Parkerized model and I can't get both, so-

Thoughts opinions...

I heard the finish is not that tough on the black/stainless but I have to say it looks fantastic. I would not mind having one myself though.

Parked.

Parkerized!  You get more for you money this way, night sights, wood grips and ambi safety (not that an ambi is needed).  It should be a few bucks cheaper than the black stainless, that's money for ammo or mags.  If you really want the black stainless look in the future, there are ways to make the parked model similar.

Park it. It is simple, and "business-like". In addition, a parked gun will hold lube pretty well, aiding in finish protection.

Parked. Then send it somewhere to be coated. I agree that a black gun is more "business like".

I got all stainless (no black), but that is what I was looking for

I have a love for parked guns. That's what mine is.

Black stainless is just bling.  Go parked.  You can even apply gunkote yourself if you have a parked gun.

My vote is for parked.

Which Black/Stainless gun? The target or the combat? If its the target then get that one,if your looking at the combat version then just get the Parked gun. The adj. night sights on the target are real nice. They are all top of the line guns.

Parked. That painted black stainless is poor painted copy of Kimber's Black Stainless.

Parkerized. We had trouble finding a parked one and ended up getting my g/f a stainless Springfield loaded. It's certainly a nice looking pistol, but too shiny for my tastes.

How about having it bead blasted?

I've got a PC5906 with that finish and I love it.

Anyway, bump because I was considering this very question but parked vs. regular stainless as I can be a sweaty mess at times and have a rust phobia.

parkerized is the way to go and you can gunkote/duracoat over it. I only like SS bead blasted to a matte finish kinda like matte chrome..D
