I carry my USP and to reduce bullet setback I started keeping it loaded at all times. My question is will it bother anything to decock the pistol when I get home and recock it by pulling the hammer back when I leave the house?  May be dumb question but I wanna be sure. Thanks guys.

I don't think it would hurt anything.  I'll wait for some others to chime in.  Why do you want to decock while at home?

If your comfortable carrying cocked and locked why not at home?  Or is it bad to keep cocked?  Just curious? I'm here to learn also.

I just feel better having it decocked at home as I don't carry it on my person.

I would not imagine it could. As far as that goes an LEM is always cocked unless you unload it and dry fire it.

Variant 1, load and decock, ready to go. Under stress, I prefer to have the first squeeze to be double action.
