What load do you guys carry? I was going to carry the Speer 90gr GDHP but now am leaning towards the Corbon DPX. The only problem is I like practicing with what I shoot and the DPX is more then $1 a round hock.gif. So what do you guys carry? Any issues with any paticular cartridge? I know my P3AT does not like Aguila rounds! |

DPX is also my first choice, Remington 102gr Golden Saber is second. Double Tap makes a hotter version of the 90gr Gold Dot for under 50 cents/rd and would be my third choice. If you want to shoot what you carry it might be your top choice. DoubleTap .380 Link I carry Double Tap in my larger pistols. I try an put a mag of carry ammo downrange, then pickup trigger time with some inexpensive FMJ (usually Magtech or UMC). I don't see an advantage off shooting a whole bunch of expensive ammo at the range, but I do think it is a good idea to keep the feel of the hot stuff - YMMV. |

I've carried the Rem Golden Sabres in my P3AT. Never had one hang up while firing, but I have had them hang up a few times while chambering the first round from the mag. I'm never even tried a different HP round.
