I didn't order the slide only, I bought the whole detective gun. And I haven't had any problems with it at all. Other than trying to find grips I liked better than the plastic ones for a reasonable price. Mine's only got about 700 rounds through it though, it's not a primary use piece at all right now. |
May I ask you when, where and how much you paid for your detective? |

The only issue I've heard about is in regards to the recoil spring. Supposedly, the Detective recoil spring has a fairly short life compared to the standard spring and getting a FM factory replacement is all but impossible. There have been reports that a spring from a CZ is an excellent substitute. |
