So shit Yesterday I shot my first suppressed firearm, a PTR MP5 and thanked the guy but had to put it down because how nice suppressed shooting was. So I've gone down a rabbit hole of 9mm/300 Blackout suppressors to buy for my first. TODAY I rented and shot my first 2011. It just happened to be the exact make I have wanted to get but never have, a AF Romulus. It was a freaking laser and just wanted to make you go fast. When I took my time I stacked them on top of one another over the X. It was the most fun I've had with a pistol. It was a 5" normal model and I would opt for a compensated either 3.5 or 4.25. I could carry it but I don't know if I ever would. SA only thumb safety is alien to me. I'm afraid under stress I'd fuck up. 2011 I've wanted for years. Suppressor I've wanted for years. I know both is the answer but I can't do both. What do you think I should do? - Romulus comped - Finally join the shhhhhh club |

Suppressor is probably more practical while the 2011 is just a fun fun for most people. Don’t get me wrong I love mine! Definitely get both eventually if you can swing it. Attached File |

Both, as stated above. Attached File The Romulus is a fantastic gun. As for the thumb safety, practice until it's second nature. As you draw, the safety gets disengaged. |

Buy all the suppressors you can afford while the tax is $0. It's not going to be that way forever. And while you're at it submit some form 1's to SBR some AR lowers and a couple shotguns. You don't even need to build them, just have the stamp if you decide you want one. |

I dont know.... I have both and always found shooting a pistol with a can to be a novelty that i just dont do that often. i think its an important tool to have in the tool box but just for going to the range and shooting, i would rather have a nicer pistol than a can i probably wont use. Ironically, my cans live on my carbines and are never shot without them. |

I prioritize handgun shooting, since it will be the most likely weapon I have in a SD scenario. IMO, the 2011 is one of the most practical handguns available, being common, accurate, shootable, and has capacity. Therefore, I'd go 2011 over a can. After that, I would skip 9mm cans and get a rifle can. Suppressed handguns are impractical. Rifles are the loudest and also the most likely weapon that you want signature reduction and hearing protection (but still wear earpro). Just MO after owning scores of pistols and over a dozen cans. |

Quit fucking around as an amateur and go get Supressors, NV, Thermal, Plates/Carrier and helmet. Everyone seems to be addicted to new gun day but then forgets the rest of the equiptment. |
