Does CZ make a full sized, 45 ACP handgun, with a rail?
I am looking into a "bedside" handgun, and want the gun to be 45 ACP to match my CCW, have a rail for a weapon mounted light, and be full-sized. The only gun I am finding by them is the 97-B and the 97-BD, both of which fit the bill except for the rail. I always hear about how good the CZ's shoot, and thought I would look into them, but I cannot seem to find one with the features I would like. I guess I could go with something like the 75 SP-01Tactical or the 75 SP-01 Phantom and stock up on 9mm (don't like the 40 S&W). |

I would stick with 9mm. Easy to stock up on, higher capacity. If there is more than one or two, you dont want to be stuck with 7 or 8 shots. Well, right now, the 45 ACP "nightstand gun" I have my eyes on is the FNP-45 Tactical, so in that case, I would have 15 rounds of 45 ACP. I do like the idea of 19 rounds of 9mm, as recoil is less and faster follow-up shots, plus ammo is less expensive. I am not too concerned about the lower energy, as today's rounds are pretty advance compared to a few years ago, and considering the range we are talking (longest shot in my house is roughly 40 feet). So far, I have yet to come across a factory gun in 45 ACP with a magazine capacity to match the FNP-45 Tactical. I wouldn't mind sacrificing 1 or 2 rounds for a different gun (XDM for instance is 13 rounds), if it meant getting something that fit my hand better, and I shoot it better. Just trying to see what my options are. |

Does CZ make a full sized, 45 ACP handgun, with a rail? Look at the Magnum Research IWI Baby Eagle. They are excellent guns and IMO are the best of the CZ clone pistols. http://www.magnumresearch.com/Expand.asp?ProductCode=BE4500RS |
