Alright guys, I'm getting a little tired of carrying my Maxpedition Colossus to work everyday. I'd play the empty your pockets game, but I'd feel silly. During the week I work in an office and I wear a button-down L/S shirt tucked in and jeans or 5.11's almost year round. Due to prior LE work experience and my size, my employers have seen fit to put me at the cube at the door and have given me permission to carry a concealed weapon. For the past year, I've been carrying all of my EDC, sans my leatherman, in a Maxpedition Colossus. I'd like to get some ideas from you guys on what I can do to get my gear onto my person, and maintain proper business appearance, since I do interact with customers on occassion. Available equipment: XD-40 5" - Milt Sparks VM-2 Spare XD Mags - Milt Sparks pocket holster / BHI Serpa pouch Taurus 650 - Don Hume pocket holster / Milt Sparks VM-2 650 reloads - HKS speedload / Bianchi speed strips 1911 5" - Milt Sparks VM-2 Spare 1911 Mags - Milt sparks IWB pouch / BHI Serpa pouches I've looked at some of the stuff in the threads, but most of what I see doesn't seem conducive to sitting in a desk chair all day. Since the XD is my primary, I'm giving heavy consideration to a Raven Concealment IWB, since I carry the XD with a TLR-1 in the Maxpediton at present. Any constructive advice is welcome. |
