| Bought a LNIB Springer Mil Spec in December and haven't been real happy with the trigger pull. I bought a new sear spring to play with, keeping the stock one in reserve in case i screwed up the new one. That helped a little, along with some light polishing on the flats of the hammer and sear. I decided to try a Classic Spur 4.5lb hammer set from Cyl & Slide. I ordered it on Wed and got it today! Dropped in with no problems and function/safety checked good. What an unreal difference. Trigger feels almost as nice as my Kimber Desert Warrior. I know they don't drop in without problems all the time, but I figured it was worth the chance. Worst case would be putting the stock parts back in and waiting a month or so until my smith could fit me in. Just thought I'd pass this on. |
