I am looking at acquiring a Glock whose frame has been Duracoated. A question, can this be removed and the frame & slide returned to it's original state. Just curious.

Lauer (the DC people) say that the only way to reliably remove DC is to blast...if you were looking for a chemical process to strip it off then I think you are out of luck. You could always duracoat it black.

I will say this: Unless you've SEEN beadblasted plastic and know you can live with it, don't do it. It isn't pretty.
