Has anyone tried the EFK dual action spring system in their Para Ordnance pistols. I have a P-12 that I was going to replace the recoil spring, and was thinking of trying the EFK system. It is a full length guide rod dual spring system.

Just spring the pistol so your ejection distance for the ammo on hand is 3' to 5" away goes a very, very long way on taming recoil.
If the action and ejector at tuned, then it should be putting the brass in a nice little pile less than a foot round if correctly sprung as well.

If you want to take it a step farther, then forward weight is the next trick, and you can pull this off with a tungsten recoil spring rod guide.

As for two part recoil spring assemblies, maybe for match use, but have seen too many of the two piece spring system (recoil masters which are a better system) send the front end/inner spring part of the system down range during matches, putting the gun out of commission (read don't use them for service use).

As for the next step, grips that you can hand onto the pistol so it not just sloshing around in your hand the next step.
Note here, front hand puts pressure on the grip hold to hold it tight to the pistol, not the inner hand with a death grip that is going to pull shots.   Also, arms out with the elbows slightly bent, and the shoulder forward of the hips so you can absorb the recoil of the pistol through your arms and shoulders straight back, instead of the pistol just whipping up and back with straight arms and the body behind the hips with neither having no place to go.
