| What do you carry with your ccw and how do you carry it? |
| Surefire EB1. I carry it using the attached (and outstanding IMO) deep carry clip. Been a fantastic but simple light. Allows you to easily and intuitively get either 5 or 200 lumens; 5 is perfect for most things I need a light for and 200 is perfect for tactical/defensive use should such a need ever arise. |

Used to be exclusively a streamlight PT2L. That still rides in my pocket everyday as a backup at work but for off duty i find myself carrying a 1 AAA Coast light that i got in one of those LAPG grab bag deals. Its not the brightest light i have by far, but it is perfect to drop in a pocket. But then again i carry less shit on duty than alot of the guys in the emlty your pockets thread carry to their cubical every day lol

Fenix PD20 in my Coin Pocket. Have carried it for seven years now. Still kicking. Finished is worn in a lot of areas, but I also treat it like crap and it gets used a lot. THIS! Carried the PD20 for years. Upgraded to the newer PD22 a few years ago. BRIGHT, brightness levels, small to carry in my pocket & WATERPROOF. I went swimming in a lake to retrieve someone's phone they dropped. Still works great! |

My current carry light is a Surefire EB1. Size, weight, durability hard to beat. The 5 lumen setting will let you use it walking around in the woods with just enough light to see or read a map without blinding yourself.
I carried (and sometimes still do) carry a Surefire G2X. It is an awesome, rugged light. I've had it on underwater. It has been coated in red clay, I just hosed it off to clean it. Used it in the rain, snow, ice, sun, etc. It just works. For the money hard to beat. It's downside is the size. I carried this light for I think 3 years. I carried an Inforce 6 or whatever the smaller one is called for almost a year. Size and weight are great. One day the plastic bezel up front broke in half. No abuse other than just being carried in my pocket. I keep meaning to call inforce to see if they will fix it. |
