For you folks who use the EezOx gun care products. What is you opinion, thoughts and advice on it. also where do you get it? I did a search on this site and came up Buptkiss! I know I can get it directly from their website. |

I use it for lube and rust protection on my XD. Works better than anything else I've tried for rust prevention. There are better things for cleaning but it's OK. I got mine from www.xd-hs2000.com/gunsmithing.html If you do a Google search for 'Eezox test' you'll find more corrosion info. |

I tried some of it a few years back and still have most of the bottle sitting around somewhere. I used it in a rust test along with some other products and my results pretty much duplicated the results that I'd seen -- namely, Eezox came in first, with BreakFree a close second. It's a good enough protectant; it dries to a thin varnish-like film. There are better lubes though. It cleaned well enough for me, as well as any other CLP out there. |
