I have a FEG PMK-380 semiauto pistol that was bought on the cheap. The issue that I have is that the extractor looks like it had been romoved at one point and was reinstalled incorrectly. When chambering a cartridge the extractor does not seem set on the rim. I removed the slide and place a cartridge directly on the face of the bolt and the extractor seems to sit too far out and above the rim.
The question I have is simple. Does anyone know how to remove the extractor and reinstall correctly? I did a quick web search and everything I found only stated field stripping (remove slide, remove spring, clean, reinstall). Thank you in advance. |
| Ok, I've finally figured out what I need to do to get the extractor out (push retaining pin back and lift out extractor). My newest issue... recomendations on tools to do this. I've tried an awl but I can get the pin/spring to push back but then it is in the way to remove the extractor. Any thoughts?? |
