I have a FN Forty Nine in 9mm that I got several years ago for $330. Anyone see them at gun shows anymore? I know they were discontinued as soon as the FNP came out.

I had the 40 cal version. loved it, the grip was like no other grip and I loved the trigger pull.

I sold it for a personal reason, but wish I had kept it now. I really prefer the FortyNine design to the FHP/X models now.

Mine was very accurate, one unusual feature was the red Tritium night sights, which were dim when I purchased the pistol.

I don't see them very often, dont think they were a big seller. I purchased mine new for about $450 1999-2000?

Is yours the two-tone version?

I have the solid black version with the white Tritium night sights in 9mm. I was able to mount a flashlight on it by using the picatinny rail adapter for the S&W Sigma. I love everything about the gun except that the trigger pull is long. Funny thing about mine is that the shells never ejected out the side, they would go up and back into my shirt pockets.  Coincidently I was watching the show "Chuck " on NBC last week and they used the 2-tone version in the show.

I had a 2-tone in 40.  Had to sell it to pay bills.  Wish I had it back, loved that pistol.
