Shot my FN High Power I purchased for $400 NIB have
First 50 Rounds: American Ammo 180 Grain FMJ (not American Eagle)

Accuracy: Very Poor, was all over the place shooting it.
6 Failure to feeds
4 Failures to set the trigger (will talk more on that later)

Second 50 Rounds: Independence Ammo 180 Grain FMJ

Accuracy : Superb I was getting 2 inch shot groups or better at 21 feet.
0 Failure to feed or extract
2 Failures to set trigger

Now to explain failures to set trigger. What would sometimes happen is after I had shot, the trigger would not work, and wiggling it (while pointed in a safe direction) or just waiting a 5-10 seconds it would start firring again. Did not happen on last 10 rounds where I tried a new magazine. I believe this relates to that magazine disconnect "safety," and possible a bad magazine. Will email FN about it. he
Remark on SFS, the "safe-fast-safety." What it is, is it makes it when you have the hammer cocked, you can press with your finger on the hammer and make it go into a resting position where it cannot fire. Once you press the safety off though it springs the hammer into a ready to fire mode.

This weekend I will be testing it with hollow points. I got 100 rounds of Remington 180 Grain JHP I bought off an overrun for my local PD real cheap

Where did you get it for $399 and what model?

Try some 155gr rounds, which might be more accurate

I got it from Reeds Ammunition on Gun Broker, looks like prices are up to $420 now. It was the Fabrique National Model, With the facotry mod Safe Fast Safety already on. He has one left, and it doesen't have the Walnut Stock one that I got. I think FN just makes the Standard type of HP, I don't remember ever seeing a FN Practical anywhere.
