I was shooting my Springfield micro today. When I use the springfield magazines, it feeds everything fine (FMJ & HP). When I shoot with Wilson Combat 7 round magazines, the pistol does not go in to battery on the second to last round in the magazine (every time). The pistols works fine with the other rounds when using the Wilson magazines. If I drop the Wilson magazine part way out, the slide will close all the way and I can shoot that round. The last round in the Wilson magazine feeds fine. I don't think I am limb wristing on just the second to last round on the Wilson magazine. I have other Wilson magazines for this pistol and had the same problem, but they werre not with me today. Any ideas on what was wrong. This magazine is not brand new, but has only been used 4 or 7 times and it is not stored with rounds in it. I started with the springfield magazine and finished with it. No problems with the springfield magazine.

dont know the answer off hand but do know my buddys  compact springfield is the same way. I just about exclusivly use wilson mags and sing there praises. I got him to  buy three for his gun and it just doesnt like them. I ended up swapping him for some springfield mags i had and they all worked good in his gun.

I think there is a sliiiiight spec difference with Wilson compact mags. They may be constructed a tad higher.

I had an officer with 1 mag I determined as out of spec (chip Mc Cormick). I got my Wilson combat CQB Compact and the number grew to 2 (Chip and a Colt). If I pushed on the colt w my thumb, it would lock back sometimes. Nevertheless, I never had a problem with the wilsom compact mags in my Officer pistol.

Thanks for the replies. I am considering more springfiled mags.
