So I've finally decided I want to try the Shield out and carry it when the Glock 26 is too big (wide) for what I'm wearing. My local gun store is having a S&W sale Friday and I'll be picking it up for $400

What are some functional and comfortable IWB holsters for the Shield? I know a lot of folks like the Crossbreed Supertuck design but I'm not so sure that style works for me. I have not shot a Shield yet but I did get to feel the trigger pull several times in the store. I think it feels pretty good but could be crisper for sure.

What upgrades do you Shield guys recommend?

I carry mine in a Raven Phantom

Blackpoint Tactical makes a hell of a holster too, I have about 10-15 of theirs for various guns

I like Stoner IWB Holsters

Have tried Kydex holsters by PJ holsters.  Not bad but the Kydex  of digs and rubs on the body shield portion of holster.

Have tried Crossbreed like holsters but the Shield is made to be light and comfortable and the extra holster material with that kind of holster defeats the purpose IMO.

The Stoner IWB holster is light, rides at just the right spot and does not dig or rub at all.

I used a Comp-Tac Minotaur which I love. I added a CT laser to my Shield so I wear it in an Old Faithful that I assembled as a kit. Of the two I prefer the Comp-Tac, but they don't make a body for the Shield/CT at this time. The Comp-Tac has gone back to G30 duty.

Congrats on the purchase, the shield is very nice gun for sure, I love mine. I have a kydex holster from multiholster, and one from LaTour holsters, both are great. For upgrades, I would def. get a lasermax for it, I have one on mine and enjoy it. If you are gonna upgrade the sights, I would implore you to get the 10-8 Performance rear sight and a Ameriglo/Trijicon HD front sight, the set up is awesome. If you want a crisper trigger, I would suggest getting a Apex hard sear installed. It has lightened my trigger pull to about 4.5# and made it more crisp.
