I have had a G23 in the past but traded it in because I didn't care too much for the recoil and I stayed away from Glock for about a year but early last year I picked up a Glock 19 and I loved it. The Glock 19 has been my main carry gun since then but I have wanted a full size 9mm for a while and just couldn't decide between the Glock 17 or the 34....well I go into my local gun shop today and they had a used Glock 17 in the case and I was really looking at getting it. I usually hang out there on the weekend and I had been there for a couple hours when the boss went into the back and brought up some guns they had taken in on trade and one of them was a Glock 34. I asked some questions and looked it over for quite a while and before he could put a price tag on it, it was mine

It's a stock Glock 34 with all the stuff I think they come from the factory with: Extended mag and slide release and a lighter trigger. Adjustable sights and the trigger is the smoothed one instead of the typical one with the grooves. It's a Gen3. Came with all the paperwork and box but only one mag for $425

I plan to get either some nice regular sights or night sights and a TLR1 at some point...

Here she is:

All compact and smaller Glocks have the grooved trigger. The smooth trigger comes standard on the fullsized and larger Glocks. They can be interchanged as in the 34 trigger and bar will drop right in a 19 of the same Gen and work just fine. I have smooth triggers in all of mine because I hate the grooved trigger. Congrats on the 34. One of Glocks best as far as I am concerned. With the right holster choice they are just as easy to carry as anything else. Great shooters and make a great comp gun but dont be to quick to put it in a catagory. They will serve practically any purpose with the right set up. Enjoy it and I am sure you will....

Thanks everyone.
I went out for breakfast/lunch today and even with the temps already in the 90's humidity at 70% I decided to ccw the 34 just to see how it was and I honestly don't mind it a bit. It does feel a bit bigger and heavier than the G19 but not by a whole lot. I would say I prefer carrying this 34 over my 1911.... Now I will probably not make this my main carry gun but I will carry it, especially when cooler weather gets here.
