Well today my dad went and bought his first 1911. Springfield GI model, olive drab IIRC, I was at work when he got it. He got to shoot it today already, said it felt real nice, plenty accurate and had a real nice trigger. We're picking it up on Thursday so I'll get to shoot it then and I'll be sure to update with pics.
