Went to the indoor range today and shot my Glock 23 for the first time. I'd never fired this model before and I hadn't even shot a 40 S&W yet. First impressions: This gun is the nuts. It fits perfectly when drawing ans shooting. The caliber packs a puch too. Easy operation and reliable shot groups make this a real winner. Now I need to order some more mags and other toys. Cleaning wasn't bad. I went over it again and again. I truely feel this is one of the best guns I have shot in a while. So now I ask what do I need to go with my glock. I was thinking of getting a recoil buffer just for the reduced stress on the reciever. I need more mags too. Any other ideas would be welcomed too.

I'd say night sights.... and more mags.  And get as much practice in as you can.  Its good for you.

The sights on Glocks blow, but other than that I wouldn't mess with it. I bought a 19 for my g/f but ended up with it as she did not like it. Very nice size gun (same as your 23), I am contemplating one in 40 or 357, I already have mags squirreled away for it.

No buffer. It'll be just fine.
