I finally got to take my KT PMR and RFB to the range today....along with my STI Spartan and newly purchased (used) Saiga 7.62x39.

Since I had a few firearms to test out...I didn't get to shoot a ton of ammo through any of the firearms.

The trigger on the PMR is very nice for a sub $300 pistol.  It was very difficult to load all 30rds in the mags...I managed about 25rds and left them in there for weeks to compress the springs.  I added a Hogue handall grip since the polymer used on the PMR was very "slick."  The recoil is mild and it was less than my FN FsN pistol...both FsN and PMR are pretty loud in the pistols.  I didn't shoot without hearing protection this time around since I was pressed for time.

What I noticed about shooting the PMR is that 22 mag ammo is DIRTY.  I was shooting HSM, Winchester Supreme, and CCI mini mag and I had debris hitting my face when I shot all three brands of ammo.

The good news is that the PMR shoots very well and I am glad that I picked up this pistol since many have not been able to locate them.

Have I mentioned lately that I hate you?

Hate is such a harsh word...well your mortgage is paid for, so you beat me in that aspect.

I have another RFB on order as well...I'll probably pick up another PMR since this one shoots so well.

Me too!

When are they gonna be in the $300 range?

I just ended up getting a call from my dealer that they had one in stock for $399.00. I ended up passing on it. I give them a few more months and they should be easier to find and the price should come back down. The gun feels more like a toy than anything else.

My quick look shows  22Mag ammo about the same price as 9mm ammo.     It seems like a fun toy,  but I cant get past the ammo costs.

Why do people always try to compare apples to oranges?  IE 22mag versus any other ammo out there...if you want a PMR get one...if you don't...don't.

The shooting sports is not an inexpensive hobby....if you cannot afford the ammo...perhaps it's time to find a new pastime?  I heard golf is popular

I want one of these but can't find one! I called all the gun shops in the Milwaukee area and they told me good luck!
