Has anyone ever come across a website showing a FiveseveN full automatic pistol. I have and I can't find that site. Yes, their were Pictures of the pistol in action. I screwed up by not saving it to my Favorites. So if anyone comes acros it please reply. Thanks. |

I have not come across any sites like that but I did find an importer that is taking deposits on FN's new civillian version of their P90. They are calling it the PS90 and will be the same in every way except semi-auto only and the barrel will be two inches longer to comform to the 16" law. The magazines will hold 50 rounds of 5.7 x 28 and it will have built in optics that will be a circle around a 5moa dot (donut of death) that will be black in the day time and red tritium in the dark. They say it will sell for $1,700 which seems really high but when you think of all the money many of us sink in our AR's with every new bell and whistle that comes along, it doesn't seem too bad. Just a little info, MadDog

Mad Dog.....sounds like i have to start saving up my pennies for the semi P90. Do you know if there's any additional info on the FN site about this ? |
|
Roentgen - The FN web site doesn't have anything about the civillian PS90 yet. I found the information on www.impactguns.com They have lowered the price on their web site to $1,399.99 but say delivery is still the end of '05 or beginning of '06. I hope this is not another Shrike deal. MadDog

| I love the FiveseveN, The problem I have with it I tend to go spastic shooting it, I find my target and empty a 20 round mag in seconds. So i will learn how to control my shooting behavior. It's kindof like "placing a chunk of buttered lobster in your mouth and swallowing before tasting it". The 5-7 is a blast to shoot. The breaking down the 5-7 takes a second or less. |
|
IanBMW - The civillian version of the P90 is not going to ship with a 50 round mag as far as I know. It will ship with a 40 round mag. Can't figure out why FN wants to short change us by 10 rounds but I will buy one of these sweet little bullpups anyway. Some people that I know think $1,399.95 for the P90 is outragious but when you look at what people have in their AR's after they have tricked them out, it's a good dea. Just my .02 MadDog

Sorry Guy's, When I started the topic on full auto 5-7's I should have stated the I came across a website discussing an Full Auto FiveseveN Pistol. It was interesting and it would be nice to have the FiveseveN pistol full auto. I quess that why some of the replies were making remarks like I am wacko. |
| I saw it, I recorded it. I watched it a few time and the amazing thing I got out of it was the New Jersey Chief of Police says " The only good thing that comes out of it is Profits for this company and dead police officers" What do you make of this quote. What he is saying is that a dead police officer is good. What am I missing here. |
He was trying to be sarcastic, but apparently fell a bit flat. |
| I work with 525 employees, not once in my 17 years working have I ever had anybody come up to me and ask were can they find a certain whatever kind of handgun. Now since all this crap I must had at least 8 people asking where they can purchase one of those FiveseveNs, and to top that some are asking just for the ammo. They don't care about the gun. I quess they see $$$$ for selling just the ammo. |
Perhaps you could edit your original post then, to reflect your true meaning? |
P90 = $1250.95 SS 190 - 1000 rounds = $400.00 FN Herstal Five-seveN® Pistol = $689.00 Go here...... http://catalogs.google.com/catalogs?dq=&hl=en&lr=&issue=21652&catpage=101 |
They wont sell you the P90 or ss190 without the dept letterhead, the five sevens go for that price however. That is where I go for most of my toy shopping whenever Im in Austin. |
| I called a supplier the day SHTF with the 5-7 FN, I put in order for some 5.7 ammo,. the salesman ask how much do I want, i asked how much do you have, he said 2 palates. I said six boxes, he says OH, I have to break up some cases for six boxes. Anyways I put the order in. Two days go by and I decided I wanted more, I called the same salesman and he said they were out. I said you had 2 palates 2 days ago what happened. He says the day after I ordered his phone would not stop ringing. He sold all the ammo that day. (2 palates) I don't know how much is on a loaded palate, I quess a lot of ammo. |

AMESHAWKI, Obviously you did not get to shoot one. Otherwise I think you would sing a different tune.(maybe). They are awesome to shoot. You can fire a full magazine in seconds with TOTAL control. Man, it is one badass firearm. Think what you have as firepower, 21 total rounds. light. easy breakdown. No lie that handgun breaks down in 2 seconds or less. The quality alone speaks for itself. The barrel construction is phenomenal, Now with the SS196 round out now, you will have a asskicking self defense round, It's a great piece, a great novelty handgun. Adjustable rear 3 dot system. I like the gloved trigger guard only because thats my winter carry gun and I do wear tactical gloves. I am about to buy the USG model and that will be my early spring, early fall piece. Most important it is one badass piece.

Sorry, I should not have said OUT NOW, I should have said the SS196 is replacing SS192. FNH USA has informed FTB that SS192 is no longer imported for commercial sale to the USA and that commerercial sales of the 5.7x28 ammo are restricted to the SS196. (not armor piercing) SS190 - Armor Piecrcing (AP) SS191 - Armor Piecrcing Tracer SS192 - Hollow Point (not Armor Piercing) SS193 - Armor Piecrcing Subsonic SS195 - "Green" Lead Free hollow point projectile with copper jacket (not AP) SS196 - Sporting Round (Hornady 40 gr. V-Max) Hollow Point Lead (not AP) |
Can the public order from these people at these prices? |
I just ordered 3 20 round mags for $30 a piece, I dunno if being military helps though. I dont think they can back out of a advertised internet price unless it specifically says on the price that it is a LE price only; like they do with the Glock listings. |
No, the handgun is available, CDNN are getting shipment at the end of FEB. The Ammo thing is wacky right now, $30.00 at CDNN, just got their shipment. They went from 16.99 a box to 29.99. Time to do you homework on this one because this 5-7 thing changes almost on a daily basis. Goodluck.... |

ydarg1358 - The Five-seveN can be found in many gun shops and definitely on the internet on sites like Gunbroker, Auctionarms, and Guns America. I purchased my 5.7 USG Tactical from a local dealer for $839 and I have seen them for less. SS192 ammo can still be found even though it has been discontinued. I just purchased 500 rounds of SS192 at a local Gun Show for $18.95 per box. I have plenty of once fired brass and a set of dies from RCBS. The SS192 round uses a 28 grain hollow point and the new SS196 will use a 40 grain Horniday V-Max bullet. I have some 30 grain hollow points coming which will be the closest to the original loading. I am trying to find out what the powder type and charge weight is of the SS192. Once I know that I can roll my own as close to the original SS192 as I can get. Just my .02 MadDog |

I have another question. I have a FiveseveN IOM for quite some time now and when I originally bought it, it came with 3 10 rd mags. Now I'm looking for some 20 rd mags for it. Do those new mags from impactguns.com work on it? http://www.impactguns.com/store/fn_fiveseven.html Just curious. I don't want to buy the wrong magazines. Thanks. |
They should, if yours is an IOM.
LEO only. ![]() Interesting that SS192 on the Impact Guns site is now restricted... or was it always like this over there? It may not have been classified as AP, but I guess it's a bit more AP than they bargained for. |
| What's IOM? I guess the better question it what 'flavors' does the Five Seven come in? h.gif |
No -- if there was one such, it must have been the earlier DAO model. Currently there are two versions, as explained here in detail. |
Thank you very much!! |
