When I sent my 40th anniversary P226 in for sights they shot it once (pre change) at 15 then after the change at 10. Pistol came with 8/8 and shooting at 25 I computed that 6/6 would barely get it where I want it for a combat hold. You're supposed to shoot it at 25 to establish which sight combo is required to move POI to POA. Both the factory targets I got back showed my pistol shooting fairly close to center (even though in my hands it was 6" high at 25) but when I got it back in my hands it was right on the money with 6/6. They even showed it slightly left which I saw in my own shooting and corrected with a sight drift. |
