The annual Waterdog Races are going on at the local fairgrounds and I came across this: Appears to be NIB and came in a black plastic box, all matching parts but the frame appears to have been dipped differently. Anyone have a notion why the coating on the frame is different from the slide? The single action trigger is better than my other 'B' models as it breaks cleaner and has less take up. It's not as clean as a Pre B trigger but it's still a very nice trigger in single action. The double action trigger is also more comparable to a Pre B in that it's fairly stout but smooth. He had it priced at $425. |
| I'd bet that gun was made in the early to mid 90's. Looks like a Turkish contract gun with the "anatomic" grips. I've had trouble getting the frame and slide to match when parkerizing one...is it a polycoat finish? It looks like the frame is, but the rollmarks on the slide seem too sharp.... |

The top probably has been also but it was a much better job. It has a different curved trigger than any of my other pistols and the ring hammer is different. Standard 3 dot sights and mags do not drop free. Very smooth slide with very little side to side play. With a few noted differences it other wise appears to be well made. |

Cosmetically it's in better shape than mine is.
I'll bet it's still a good to great shooter though. My 82 really shocked me with it's single action trigger pull and accuracy. It may be a small pistol at a relatively low price, but it's far from a "cheap" pistol. |

I'm very much looking forward to shooting it. |
