For those who missed out on the 3" CS-1's back in the 80's and always wanted a 3" 686, your prayers may have been answered. I personally can ignore the internal lock, I know many can't, but i've got one on order. My dealer was able to confirm S&W's item number and claims I should have it within a couple of weeks. I know it isn't really a CS-1, but i'm hoping it will be a close second. 3" S&W 686 later, AJ |
Gun came in week before last. One of the shortest waits I have had for a special order gun, 8 days. Got out to the range that weekend for about a box of ammo. Shot great. I was pretty impressed for a new lock style gun how much I liked it. I now have the 3" 686 of my dreams. It took me almost 20 years to get, but I got it...
