The Flat Top was purchased at one of the Military Bases PX (Anchorage) in 1959. My FIL acquired this Revolver in 1962 when he was building the family Homestead. It still lives on the family Homestead to this day. It cost $68.00 .
ETA This Revolver remains unfixed.

Very Nice!

I have an old 3 screw with the brass trigger gaurd and backstrap. Mines quite abit newer though,made 1972.

If only it could talk indeed!!  And most definately thanks for sharing!!!  
Just fathom how many miles that thing was carried in a hip holster to get that kind of bluing wear on the cylinder and barrel.  Wow!!  Outstanding!
