UNFFFF I have a freaking hole being burned in my pocket RIGHT NOW for a P-09...cz is such a tease about the whole thing.

I wish SP-01's were IDPA legal, I would, literally, buy one right now. I'm never gonna be like a super duper competitor maybe I should just buy one and then be all "WHO, ME?" when someone calls me on it.

the SP-01 can be made IDPA legal, just takes a little work. If you just buy some 10 rounds mags and a set of Marschal lightweight grips, you're good to go. http://www.marschalgrips.com/?content=CZ_SP01-models

You know there is a new rule book in the works? I expect the weight requirements to become more reasonable.

Looks like you were right, they have appeared to extend the 43oz max weight to SSP, which makes the SP-01 fall into SSP, I think.

Which means I now have no excuse not to buy one.

Yep the rules for review that came out will make the SP-01 legal in SSP. And if its SSP legal it can run in ESP if you prefer cocked and locked.

I'm tempted to have my Shadow-75 "ESP-afied" so I can justify a SP01
