| Just put a LCR in layaway. Anyone here change out the front sight for say a tritium or hi-viz? where to get it and pro's n' cons please. Thanks. |

Quoted: I put a big dot sight on mine (tritium). It a easy install just be carefull and dont mess up the finnish. You will need a 1/16 punch. I'm wary of the Big Dot, because it attaches with epoxy. I think the Hi-Viz uses the pin that holds the OEM sight in. Maybe my fear is unfounded, I don't know. I do know that the front sight is super hard to pick up on a dark background. I might just paint mine with day-glo paint. ![]() |

I just called XSsights, they said that some early production sights were epoxied but they do not make them now. All of thier pistol sights are pinned. I just ordered a front dot for my LCR, lets see what they send. |

I'd actually prefer the Big Dot to the Hi-Viz, if it's pinned. I think the Bid Dot sight is tailor-made for this type of gun. |

Sweet, thanks for the pics. Looks like I'll be spending $60 soon.
As an aside, my LCR hates Winchester Bonded PDX ammo. I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with that shit. It loves the Speer 135 gr. short barrrel Gold Dots. Super accurate. +1, Thanks for posting! |
