Where can I find out what the markings on the front strap of my P08 1914/1920 mean? I understand they are unit markings.

There is also a very light strike of what looks like the top half of a zero or 0 over the period between the S and the 2.

I believe that is going to be a police unit marking. If the pistol has the "sear safety" riveted above the sideplate, then it most definitely is a police unit marking.

No, it does not have the additional sear safety.
