The first thing I thought of after seeing that VFG on there was, I sure hope he doesn't loose a finger like in the Glock video.

There's at least one transferable full auto only disconnect type sear for the S&W 59 series out there. Last I heard it was for sale at around $20K

A couple years ago I handled a transferable 5906.  It was made for the Secret Service supposedly...yeah, aren't they all.  Still, it was a standard 5906 (non-TSW) and was select-fire.  Needless to say, it was bad to the bone.  It was a class 3 dealer selling it at the Richmond gunshow.  I don't remember the price, but it was out of my reach at the time.

It's nothing but a 5906 Tactical that was converted by an SOTII to full auto.  It's not like it was produced by S&W or anything like that.

If you are an 07/SOTII, you can manufacture a machine gun out of anything you want, but it's just not transferrable.  You can use them for rentals, demos, sales to agencies, or sales to other 07FFL's, even if they are not manufacturers, with a demo letter from a department.

Look at all the viedo from machinegun shoots.  Believe me, most of the shooters there are NOT shooting transferrable guns.  Most are manufacturers shooting newly produced guns.

This same business that owns this 5906TSW probably has a pile of different semi-auto pistols that were converted to full auto, and I'm sure they make a small fortune renting them out, too.  At one small MG shoot I go to, one manufacturer makes a little over $15k/day renting newly produced MG's.  And that's the smallest shoot I go to!
